Language through Literature

For teachers

Language through Literature is a complete language course in Russian, German, Spanish, French and Italian, from a learner’s first word to real literature. You can send your students to one story, or to the course from its first lesson.

How your students start

  1. Choose a text and copy its link. Every text below has its own link. Inside a story, Copy link to this story is in the reader’s menu and under All parts.
  2. Send it to your students. They open it in a browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. A tap on a word gives its meaning, a tap on a sentence gives its translation, and Listen reads the text aloud.
  3. They keep their own place. A text marked free opens with no account. A free account takes an address and no payment details, and keeps a student’s place and saved words on every device.

New to the language? Send them to the first lesson instead: Russian, German, Spanish, French, Italian.
